Summary:
The rift between Social Sciences and the Humanities most frequently leaves out the rich hybrid interstice between them. In a Research Centre located within the scope of Social Sciences there is ample room to accomodate the progress of knowledge pertaining those themes and topics located at this confluence.
Objectives:
- To provide a forum for research at the threshold between Social Sciences and the Humanities.
- To bridge the divide between these two scientific domains and welcome research located at their interstice.
- To contribute methodologically to the enhancement of data gathering and analysis tools falling within the scope of qualitative, quantitative or mixed methodologies.
- To promote the interconnection of knowledge between Social Sciences and the Humanities.
Proposed Activities:
- Participation in scientific events;
- Writing of papers;
- Development of theses and dissertations.
